
The General director of Yazidi Affairs at the Kurdistan Regional Government's Ministry of Endowments Khairi Bozani, sent a congratulatory message to congratulate the Ezdina organization on the occasion of the opening of its headquarters in the city of Qamishlo/Qamishli, he described the activism that Ezdina provides in defending human rights in general and the rights of the oppressed Yazidis and other religious and national minorities in particular as "distinctive".
Bozani emphasized that "Ezdina Organization has become a distinctive media platform for delivering news and events as they are from the regions of Kobani, Afrin, Al-Jazira. As well as its valuable articles, research and studies."
"It is important to consolidate the values of acquaintance, tolerance, coexistence, acceptance of others, ensuring community peace, removing the roots of sedition and discrimination, and eliminating hate speech and incitement against others, through solidarity and struggle to implement these demands on the ground," Bouzani said.
Bozani explained, "out of their full belief for peaceful coexistence and acceptance of the other, they declare their solidarity and full support for Ezdina Organization, and ask everyone to cooperate with it until it reaches its desired goals, which are all poured into the crucible of humanity.
On Friday the 21st of August 2020, the Ezdina organization opened its headquarters in the city of Qamishlo/Qamishli, and launched the hope project in the region. The project is an academic and professional work program aims to increase the community awareness of the Yazidi identity, enhancing the closeness between the individuals of the religious and national components in North and East Syria, mainly by respecting diversity, accepting others and the rejection of hate speech and violence.
