
An official of the Free Kurdish Women Organization, Yusra Zubair, sent a special congratulatory message on the occasion of opening of Ezdina’s headquarters in the city of Qamishlo/Qamishli. She considered it an important step, and pointed out the need of such an Organization to be a place for all components of the region that live in one country to communicate.
Zubair referred to "the tragic and sad images that you envision of what happened to the Yazidi Kurdish community."
Zubair added, "I wish to eliminate all differences between religions, whether it is the Islamic, Christian or Yazidi religion, in order to build a healthy and solid society on the basis of brotherhood.
On Friday the 21st of August 2020, the Ezdina organization opened its headquarters in the city of Qamishlo/Qamishli, and launched the "Hope" project in the region. The project is an academic and professional work program aims to increase the community's awareness of the Yazidi identity, enhancing the closeness between the individuals of the religious and national components in North and East Syria, mainly by respecting diversity, accepting others and the rejection of hate speech and violence.
