
The Ezdina Organization in Northeastern Syria has launched the Hope Project. It started at the beginning of August 2020 and will last for three months until the end of October 2020.
The "Hope" project is sponsored by the US State Department in coordination with the DT Foundation. It is an academic and professional work program that aims to increase the community’s awareness of the Yazidi identity and promoting rapprochement between religious and national components in Northeastern Syria. This is by respecting pluralism, accepting others, and rejecting hate speech and violence.
In 2020, the Ezdina organization is working on the Hope Project to establish several activities that include holding seminars to introduce the identity of Yazidis within the region of diverse components. In addition to holding dialogue sessions at Ezdina office, in which different community groups participate to discuss and exchange opinions on several societal issues related to promoting the culture of human rights and the openness to religious pluralism and acceptance of others. Moreover, holding many human rights and cultural aimed activities.
