
Under the title "I am a Yazidi, I invite you to get to know me" a seminar held to introduce the Yazidi religion and the Yazidi identity and the Yazidi woman. About 50 participants from all components of the city of Hasaka, dozens of members of civil society centers and institutions, and dozens of social figures, political parties and human rights organizations participated in the seminar.
The seminar started by defining correctly the Yazidi people, their religion, the areas of their spread and existence, the suffering of the Yazidis throughout history, the role of Yazidi women, and how they were able to prove themselves.

While the coordinator of Ezdina office in Qamishlo/Qamishli, Liloz Mohammed, explained that the aim of this seminar, which is the third of its kind, is to identify the Yazidi religion, including its customs and traditions, and to correct the wrong stereotypes about the Yazidis and their culture.
Mohammed confirmed that these opinions, errors, ideas and wrong stereotypes must be corrected, noting that the Yazidi people are an integral part of the components of the region.
The eminar ended with opening of the door for discussions and answering the questions of the attendees about the Yazidi religion.
