About 65 people participated from different regions of Syria and from its various components as well, in order to get to know the Yazidis more accurately. The webinar was held via the Zoom program, in order to avoid gathering.
In his speech during the webinar, the director of Ezdina, Ali Isso, affirmed that the aim of this seminar is to explain and give more information about the Yazidi religion and its religious and social rituals, in addition to their relationship with the rest of the components.
The webinar was lectured by the Yazidi journalist Jaber Jindo and the Yazidi activist Madeline Chako, where many topics related to the Yazidis were addressed, including their religious rituals and holy places.
Jindo emphasized that “Yazidism is a religion in itself and has no connection to any other religion, indicating that Yazidis should not be called a "sect".
The webinar organized by Ezdina Organization, within its HOPE project, lasted for three hours, among the participants were workers in some United Nations bodies, also a simultaneous interpretation feature was available during the seminar.
