
The Yazidi social personality, Iman, sent a special congratulatory message on the occasion of the opening of the headquarters of Ezdina Organization in the city of Qamishlo/Qamishli. Pointing out the need to serve the ancient Yazidi religion by spreading information about this ancient religion whose followers worship the One God who has no partner and who is the source of respect and peace.
Iman added "Any person in any geographical area has his religion, belief and language, just as the Yazidis worship God and accept all of God’s creation in this world, regardless of his religion, language and color". On Friday the 21st of August 2020, the Ezdina organization opened its headquarters in the city of Qamishlo/Qamishli, and launched the "Hope" project in the region. The project is an academic and professional work program aims to increase the community's awareness of the Yazidi identity, enhancing the closeness between the individuals of the religious and national components in North and East Syria, mainly by respecting diversity, accepting others and the rejection of hate speech and violence.
