
Abdul Rahman Badrkhan for Al-7al website: Ezdina Foundation sheds light on hate speech and its problems.
The deputy co-chair of the Democratic Islamic Society Conference, Abdul Rahman Badrkhan, told Al-7al website, that many groups of society call for hate speech, which is considered one of the negative aspects of society, whether it is religious, intellectual, ideological, or other types of speech.
Badrkhan pointed out that there is a mismanagement in highlighting the side that calls for brotherhood and tolerance, as the positive side is few shed light, adding that Ezdina Organization has shed light on this aspect, to identify the causes that lead to hatred, violence and extremism, its problems and the role of religious figures and the media extinguish this flame, which is burning everything.
In turn, the coordinator of Ezdina office in the city of Qamishlo/Qamishli, Liloz Mohammed, explained that Ezdina Organization had launched the "Hope" project in northeastern Syria at the beginning of August 2020, to define the Yezidi identity, and to call for acceptance of others, respect for human rights.
It is noteworthy that Ezdina Organization organized a dialogue session in the city of Qamishlo/Qamishli in the presence of clerics and representatives of religious institutions in which they discussed hate speech and combating extremism, especially in the regions of northeastern Syria.
