
The official of the Syriac Women’s Union, Georgette Barsoum, spoke about the activities that they carry out in the union, including awareness-raising workshops and seminars, stressing that the economic empowerment of women is their primary goal in the union, because economic empowerment is the way to empower women in all other fields.

In turn, the coordinator of Ezdina in northeastern Syria, Liloz Mohammed, explained the activities carried out by Ezdina within the "Hope" project of seminars and dialogue sessions, and the objectives of these activities.
It is worth noting that Ezdina opened its headquarters on the first of last August in the city of Qamishlo/Qamishli, and launched the "Hope" project in the region as part of an academic and professional work program aimed at increasing community awareness of the Yazidi identity and promoting rapprochement between the religious components in northeastern Syria, by respecting pluralism, accepting the other, and rejecting hate speech and violence.
