Avin Sheikhmous for Al-Wakala: People of Raqqa wanted to convey a message that their city is for all components and religions

The director of media office at Ezdina Organization, Avin Sheikhmous, said in a special statement to Al-Wakala News Agency, about the seminar held by Ezdina Organization under the title “I am a Yazidi, I invite you to get to know me” in the city of Raqqa: "Many war crimes and sexual slavery against Yazidi women took place in Raqqa, when the city was under the control of "ISIS", but the people of Raqqa city wanted to send a message that their city is the property of all components and all religions.

Sheikmous added that Raqqa is a colorful city, and is not the city of blackness, and that the importance of the seminar comes to prove the statements of the people of the city of Raqqa that the city is for everyone.

For her part, the poet Maria Al-Ajili stated that, people from the city of Raqqa, reached out to their Yazidi families and brothers and opened their hearts and homes to them.
