On the third of this October, Ezdina Organization held an introductory seminar for the Yazidis under the title "I am a Yazidi, I invite you to get to know me", in the city of Raqqa, as part of a series of seminars and dialogue sessions held by Ezdina in northeastern Syria, with the aim of increasing community's awareness of the Yezidi identity and promoting rapprochement among the people of different components.
The documentary talks about the return of some Yazidis to the city of Raqqa with their will, but this time to spread their culture and talk about their religion, that were distorted by the terrorist organization "ISIS" during its control of the region, and to see how the city returned to its former state after defeating the terror organization, after a long black era.
The documentary shows how the city of Raqqa has become the city of brotherhood and peace, after the organization's members practiced their crimes against its residents and against the Yazidis, who were forced to come to it after they were kidnapped by the organization’s members in August 2014 from Shengal/Sinjar district.
Both the Yazidi journalist Jaber Jindo and the Yazidi activist Madeleine Chako, wandered in the streets of Raqqa city and several places, including the school, which was transformed from a place of teaching children to a place where Yazidi girls and women were gathered to display them for auction in a painful scene indicating what the city suffered in the era of "ISIS" terrorism.
It is worth noting that Ezdina Organization is the first Yazidi institution that enters Raqqa with the aim of introducing the Yazidi religion three years after the liberation of Raqqa, in coordination with the Adrenaline Initiative team and with active participation of the people of Raqqa.
